Carmel

Carmel is darker, longer and more wrinkled surfaces compared to Nonpareil. They are prepared from whole, sweetened almonds.

Peerless

Medium – to large-sized nuts are produced by this early flowering cultivar. This type stands out from others thanks to its tight seal and strong shell.

Nonpareil

Nonpareil are readily blanched (skin removal) and sliced and cut for processed forms. Nonpareil almonds have a smooth surface and are long and flat. Because of the way it looks, it is one of the most popular types of almonds. Its smooth kernel, thin outer shell, and absence of flaws make it an excellent choice for snacking nuts and other applications where a pleasing look is essential.

Independence has a wrinkled surface and a flat shape. Its colour is usually semi-light but inconsistent. This variety of almond is known for thin shells ang high crack-outs
